It Begins With You (Ways To A Better You)
What is it that stops you from enjoying your own little success and taking pride in accomplishments that makes you grin from ear to ear? How many people have you met that think they are bad and punish themselves and their life is a daily nightmare?
The same kind of people who, support every good cause going, support their friends and family, give up their time to help you out and find great joy in other peoples success.
What is it that stops us from enjoying success, what holds us back from acknowledging the good that we do? Why can’t we find the answers to mend a broken heart or come to terms with a situation without beating our self around the head first and treading the same path time and time again?
Until you make peace with who you are, you’ll never be content with what you have.–Doris Mortman
There are several reasons really that lead up to the main source of the problem which include, guilt, regrets, grudges, self hatred, blame, resentment and feeling non deserving. These are things that stop you from really enjoying success, real happiness or peace of mind because they are tinged. How can you be completely happy if they things you have were gotten through lying to someone, cheating someone, deceiving, materialistic gain all at the misfortune of others?
How do you get passed the guilt, regrets, the blame game?
Can You Handle It?
Truth will out! Honesty is the best policy! The truth will set you free! are only a few slogans
that spring to mind when it comes to being truthful. You read it all the time amongst activist, truth seekers etc but just try outing yourself with self truth. Being blatantly honest with ourselves is one of the hardest things we face, until we can be honest with our self no amount of self help books will provide that magic solution. They may help to guide us there but that is all, they may give some knowledge and comfort but nothing else.
We can use many things to help us look for answers but the biggest answers lie within ourselves and we always fall short because facing up to reality might not be a walk in the park or we haven’t reached that point yet because we are too busy chasing our tails, going round in circles and treading the same old path looking for how? why? answers or because we feel we are of the non deserving kind.
I always insisted I was being honest with myself in situations and couldn’t for the life of me figure out why I couldn’t find what I was looking for. We kid ourselves all the time and skip around it hoping to find the quick fix and bypass everything else. But it never works. It will always come back to this because we aren’t perfect, we make mistakes and we beat ourselves constantly all the while wanting to be free from the never ending cycle.
Truth is sometimes difficult to find but self honesty is for sure, a good foundation ~ Alex Hislop
The only way to to true self healing is being honest with yourself. How can you expect people to be honest with you if you can’t be honest with yourself? How can you find peace of mind and happiness if you refuse to look at yourself?
Would it surprise you to learn that when you do, the end result is something you may not be what you expected in some ways? You may surprise yourself in other ways but be certain, you will learn something and it’s what you decide to do with all of this that will change things.
Fear is a question: What are you afraid of, and why? Just as the seed of health is in illness, because illness contains information, our fears are a treasure house of self-knowledge if we explore them.–Marilyn Ferguson
Being truly honest isn’t as easy as it sounds and will usually happen when we reach a crisis point or in a moment of quiet solitude. We fear it more than anything because why have we avoided it for so long? Facing up to your own flaws and the fact that we are not perfect and are capable of passing judgement, hurting someone with words and actions, lying, acknowledge that we are responsible for someone else’s hurt and misery, that we see other peoples faults first and foremost and have flash thoughts about wishing someone dead. You have to face up to being wrong about many things and it may not be pretty but these things never are.

From title to all It is an awesome read. I have a suggestion for you. Write mini ebooks or blog on Kindle that may pay you back. As you write from intense inner thoughts and intelligence which is the leading cause to move ahead in real life. Many people or even everyone needs this kind of push to move ahead on their plans and work it. You will become a popular writer. Keep up the good work.

Hi Fran, firstly I want to apologise for the delay in a reply. I have been going through some videos on how to set up an ebook which is something I have never done before or thought about and decide whether I would have enough original material which I would have. There are times when writing these articles there is much more that could be extended but I refrained from having really long posts.
Thanks for the vote of confidence and the suggestion, I am flattered. Although I do have to warn you……guess who I’ll be running to for help when I get stuck
